About Me

Lucy Lakshman is an emerging Brisbane based filmmaker. After graduating from QUT with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Film, Television and New Media) she was offered a full time position at the ABC and is now working as a production assistant for Australian Story.

She possesses a keen interest for pre-production and on-set roles, particular in organisational positions such as 1st Assistant Director and Production Management, but loves any chance to take a seat on the Director’s chair.

Her works has been screen domestically and internationally. Lucy is passionate about crafting new and exciting screen stories and am eager to develop her skills as a creative voice.
